Cooperative principles
We follow the seven internationally recognized principles that define how cooperatives operate.
Voluntary & open membership
Membership is open to all who can use our services and accept the responsibilities of being a member.
Democratic member control
Members govern the cooperative on an equal footing — one member, one vote.
Member's economic participation
Members contribute to, and fairly share in, the capital and benefits of the cooperative.
Autonomy and independence
We are an autonomous, self-help organization controlled by our members.
Education, training & information
We invest in member education so every member can effectively contribute to the cooperative's growth.
Cooperation among cooperatives
We work with local, national, and international cooperative structures for the benefit of members.
Concern for community
We work for the sustainable development of the community our members live and work in.
The Regular General Assembly is held every 2nd Tuesday of March. A Special General Assembly may be called at other times if policies need to be agreed upon by the membership.
